Steel
Overcoating (Encapsulation)
This service is often needed by Department of transportation in various states when lead abatement is not in the budget. In this type of paint project, we simply prep the existing coating as needed then coat over the lead based paint to encapsulate the hazardous material. This extends service life of original coating.
New Steel Painting
When working with transportation departments in various states we offer new steel painting as needed within any project type. We are certified by SSPC QP-1 program.
Lead Abatement
On some existing steel projects lead based paint is present. This paint is hazardous and is removed down to bare metal then recoat to specification. We are certified with SSPC QP-2. This allows us to take on these complex projects. We specialize in lead abatement.
Existing Steel Painting
This is our specialty. We offer all containment required for these complex painting projects associated with existing steel.
